Rob Curtis

Non-Executive Chairman

Rob Curtis has more than 30 years’ experience in mineral exploration, business development and resources investment, gained at CRA/Rio Tinto, Oxiana, OZ Minerals and specialist resources private equity group EMR Capital.

He was part of the original team at Oxiana Ltd when the company was capitalised at approximately $30 million. Oxiana grew to become OZ Minerals, which was acquired by BHP for approximately $9.6 billion.

Rob has worked hands-on at every stage of the project life cycle, from greenfields target generation through resource definition, development and operations, across Australia and in Laos, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. His technical and transaction experience spans gold and base metals projects including Sandfire Resources, Golden Grove, Sepon, Wafi, Hidden Valley and Martabe.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) with First Class Honours from the School of Mines at the University of Ballarat, and was a recipient of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Scholarship.
